Phoenx Art Group

The Phoenix Art Group have sessions on a Wednesday Morning from 10.30am to 12.30pm at the  Sheepfair Centre.

New members are welcome regardless of ability, (there is always someone to ask for advice if you need it). You can work on your own project in your own time at your own speed, with help if you want it.

Our members use a variety of  different media, watercolour, acrylic , oils, pastels, pencils etc.

The Art group will be a holding a public Art Exhibition of their work on July 1st 2017,  at Sheepfair. Some of the work will be for sale.

You are all invited to visit the Museum of Cannock Chase in Valley Road, Hednesford, where you will be able to enjoy fifteen framed works of “Comic Cuts” art on display in the coffee lounge.  They are all by members of the Rugeley Phoenix Art Class and have been chosen by the Council.  The exhibition will be open from Saturday 12th June until Wednesday 4th August between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Entry is free.  All the framed works will be for sale to the general public at £25 each (10% will be taken by the Council).  It will be possible to reserve them during the exhibition for collection after it has ended.  Why not bring your family along for a very interesting visit to this fascinating treasure of local history hidden away in our Cannock Chase and also enjoy a nice cup of coffee whilst viewing our Comic Cuts?
