Chat from Me – December 2016

Well Christmas is so close you can smell the turkey roasting! I hope you all enjoy Christmas festivities within your groups and are well on with preparations within your own families. Please remember others who are less fortunate and will not have families or a hot meal this Christmas, if you can plate up and deliver a meal for an elderly neighbour do it, it will make such a difference to them or invite them for a drink if they are able. I know many of us starting to feel our age but there are many far worse off than us.

I know many of you will have enjoyed the singalong and grateful thanks go to all those who helped and took part.

I am sure you will enjoy Coffee morning, Route 44 area ┬ábrilliant band who will set your toes tapping. get up and dance, let’s have a party!

Booking is open to day for the first outing of the year to Melton Mowbray, please support Ivan and John, we are lucky to have them. And of course we must say a very big thank you to Barry and Joan who have so ably organised the outings for the last four years. Well done!

It only remains for me to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for myself and all the committee.

Enjoy

Sandra
