The Art Group meet on a Wednesday Morning 10.30am to 12.30pm.
We are a friendly group with a great range of painting abilities from really good to beginners. There is always someone to help for those who want it.
Of course there is time for a good chat and a tea /coffee and a biscuit. Come and join us.
The Art group held their annual Art Exhibition on Saturday June 2nd, at Sheepfair.
Thank you to all those who supported the event.
Also thank you to the talented artists who showed their work at the exhibition. It was a lovely afternoon and there were lots of cakes too!

The Art Group were delight with the response and support to their first Art Exhibition.
We had a good number of visitors and a few sales.. We look to make this a regular event.
The Phoenix Art Group have sessions on a Wednesday Morning from 10.30am to 12.30pm at the Sheepfair Centre.
New members are welcome regardless of ability, (there is always someone to ask for advice if you need it). You can work on your own project in your own time at your own speed, with help if you want it.
Our members use a variety of different media, watercolour, acrylic , oils, pastels, pencils etc.
The Art group will be a holding a public Art Exhibition of their work on July 1st 2017, at Sheepfair. Some of the work will be for sale.

The group restarts on January 4th 2017 -new members welcome.
The Art Class is going on a trip to Patchings Festival at Calverton near Nottingham, on Friday 6th June. We have a couple of seats available. It’s a superb day out and if you would like to join us, cantact Gloria on 01889 808449.
You are all invited to visit the Museum of Cannock Chase in Valley Road, Hednesford, where you will be able to enjoy fifteen framed works of “Comic Cuts” art on display in the coffee lounge. They are all by members of the Rugeley Phoenix Art Class and have been chosen by the Council. The exhibition will be open from Saturday 12th June until Wednesday 4th August between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Entry is free. All the framed works will be for sale to the general public at £25 each (10% will be taken by the Council). It will be possible to reserve them during the exhibition for collection after it has ended. Why not bring your family along for a very interesting visit to this fascinating treasure of local history hidden away in our Cannock Chase and also enjoy a nice cup of coffee whilst viewing our Comic Cuts?
