Theatre information Update – April/May 2020

I received a call from the Hippodrome
recently saying that Priscilla cannot be
rescheduled, so they are refunding our ticket
money. I referred them to the treasurer, (as they
wanted to transfer the money directly to the club
account).
People will get a full refund when the club is up and
running again.
At the moment I have no further information about
Slava’s Snow Show but I will keep you posted.

Keep safe, Moira x

Theatre update- April 2020

I have been checking the Hippodrome
website for updates about Priscilla on 15th April. It
is definitely cancelled, but it’s not clear at the moment
whether it may be rescheduled or we will be
offered a refund.
On a more cheerful note, the Hippodrome have put
some films to watch on their website, including
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert! I think people might
appreciate that under the circumstances.
I will keep you updated

Theatre Update July 2019

The king and I (11th December) is sold out.

Only 13 people have expressed an interest in Les Misérables in Birmingham next July. We appreciate that it seems a long way off, but the theatre needs to be paid by August 4th this year. In order to keep travel costs down we must fill a 26-seater coach, so unless more people come forward, regretfully we shall have to cancel this trip.

We are looking at new shows for next year. Please let us know if there is anything that interests you.

After initially ordering 26 seats for The King and I matinee performance, at the newly refurbished Alex in Birmingham on December 11th 2019, this has now been increased to 42 seats and they are sold.
