I have just booked 36 tickets for My Fair Lady at Birmingham Hippodrome next March 15 2023 ( matinee). I know it seems a long way off, but I think it will be popular. The tickets are £46 and I need numbers by August 2022!
Coach fare will be extra, but that can wait until much nearer the time.
Moira has booked 24 tickets to see, ‘Marvellous’, at the New Vic , Newcastle-u -Lyme for a matinee on March 31st at 2.15 pm.
The cost will be £36, including the coach. She will need to know from people ASAP if this is going to be viable.
The phone number for more information or to book –
We are very disappointed to say that if you booked for
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, or Slava’s Snow Show, neither show can be rescheduled.
We aim to return your payments (in cash) around the middle of August. We should
have a contact number for you, in which case, we shall call and make the necessary
arrangements to return your money around that time.
Moira and Joy.
I received a call from the Hippodrome
recently saying that Priscilla cannot be
rescheduled, so they are refunding our ticket
money. I referred them to the treasurer, (as they
wanted to transfer the money directly to the club
account).
People will get a full refund when the club is up and
running again.
At the moment I have no further information about
Slava’s Snow Show but I will keep you posted.
I have been checking the Hippodrome website for updates about Priscilla on 15th April. It is definitely cancelled, but it’s not clear at the moment whether it may be rescheduled or we will be offered a refund.
On a more cheerful note, the Hippodrome have put some films to watch on their website, including Priscilla, Queen of the Desert! I think people might appreciate that under the circumstances. I will keep you updated
